RE: https://mamot.fr/@homlett/116562277532502424 As a company that refuses AI, I think this maybe be a good idea if done correctly. I've seen logos that say "No AI" but then crossed out. So AI? But the problem with labels is that you often have to buy them. So the startup that is doing good things won't spend money on something unnecessary. For example: We buy #coffee from farms that have organic practices or pay a fair trade but buying these labels and going through certification is a cost they can't afford. Starbucks can have all their farms fair trade certified but few would agree that overall Starbucks are a fair company. But a small hold farmer with 5 to 10 acres growing exceptional coffee with organic practices can't command a price if we (the consumers) only buy "fair trade" and "organic" labels because that's the standard and everything else is assumed unfair. Maybe as companies we need to get better at saying no AI, but you can only take our word for it. No one has verified us.
