@ellane@pkm.social I've been wearing bone conduction headphones for what seems like forever. They were really the only good option to wear headphones and hear what was going on around you before everyone got so clever with transparency mode. I still wear them as my daily drivers because battery life is a lot better than earbuds generally.

@Yvonnezed@mastodon.au Sounds like their longevity is pretty good, then. That fake transparency didn’t impress me. And as much as I might like complete isolation from the world sometimes, I found noise cancelling to be overrated.
