Same old problem that Khaled Abou El-Fadl has long been lamenting about -- the lack of intellect among mainstream contemporary Muslims, because their minds are so colonized and they have really internalized that they're losers. Again, in Japan, we see that kind of colonized, quietist Islam using legalism as an excuse to dodge basic ethical principles, preached by colonized Arab puppet traitors.
