@Joshua344@mastodon.social @Tutanota I read this as "teach children digital literacy", but it's more about two separate problems. 1. It's the parents job to secure a child's devices. Failing in doing so should be considered parental neglect 2. Politicians using FUD & the classic "won't somebody PLEASE think of the children" to gain more power over your life will deprive you of rights Therefore mass surveillance is bad for your children, because it sets them up for a future where they're deprived of freedom.
