I, however, went with a FlashForge Adventurer 5M Pro because it's more available in my country, is cheaper, and comes in an enclosure (it prints inside a box, basically).
My son and I are enjoying it very much. 1st print was out in under 30 minutes from opening the box. Lovely.

@Greg@social.coop And a 3rd option is the Bambu Labs A1 Combo. The "Combo" part is a stand that can hold 4 different filament rolls and let's you print a model in 4 different colors in one go. Not exactly a beginner feature but I think it's very attractive. You can get it without the Combo and add that later. All 3 models are new, fast and easy to get started with. Enjoy!
