Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary starts its 2nd season with its 2 main characters distinctly separated. We focus a lot on a new character, Urino Takahiko, who has ambitions to be a big name at the school newspaper club.
Meanwhile, Jogoro and Yuki's separation seems destined to end sooner or later... given the flames of arson connecting them at the end of the episode!
Mention has to be paid to seasons 2's opening. It is a stunning, mixed-media extravaganza!

This little sequence is great. Jogoro spots Yuki across a crowded street even while his new (pretend?) girlfriend Tokiko Nakamaru adjusts his scarf. In my first watch, I didn't think they showed us Yuki and her new (pretend?) boyfriend Urino in the wide shot, but frame by frame it and there they beneath the fabric sign mostly hidden behind that stone lamp! #anime #ShoshiminScreenshots Nobody thinks in the odd, emotionless, factual ways Jogoro and Yuki do, and to have them separate is painful!
