Feels to me like there's been some sudden decisions made by a small in-group which isn't a great natural fit for me. I'm a spicy guy, and I connect everything to the political or to society.
I've always held back a little for retro.pizza. Trying not to yuck yums, step on toes, or point out the most actually dark and problematic things I see about Monsterdon's movies.
I feel like I'm in a game store where people just want to have fun. They want to show their toys. They don't want to be reminded of the danger outside.
Previously mentioned in-group stated "as long as it doesn't aim to make people mad" it should be fine. Yet, I see decisions influenced by someone tone-policing an activist (who included filterable hashtags) that their post about a charity wrestling match fighting ICE was harmful. It didn't aim to make us mad, it was to give hope and show the good in the world.
But no CW, so we condescend and tone police?
My journey is fighting avoidant habits. I have to go - nothing personal. Love ya'll.
