Just real quick:
For IWP9, I wire things up every time, and it's a bit of a mess, to be honest. I carry around a ThinkPad X270, a HDMI capture card, a wired mic -> audio jack, a wireless mic -> USB, and a crappy camera. Audio is the most important part.

@CyReVolt@mastodon.social Thanks! I wasn't aware of the FOSDEM videobox, I'm gonna check it out! We strive to use FOSS everywhere we can at Botconf so it's very interesting. For now regarding the hardware we mostly threw money at the problem and have a Blackmagic ATEM mini pro and a Scarlet 2i2 soundcard, along with a laptop with lots of hdmi splitters and hdmi to usb capture cards. @hackaday@hackaday.social
