@craftygardennz@mastodon.nz Cool. My grandfather was a breeder, and I recall his variety was grown out in Idaho. It requires cool nights and is intolerant of wet soils. I think the frosts are a problem at flowering. So, wetness is likely a bigger concern in NZ? Post about it 📫 if you get a harvest. I'm curious.
