So… yesterday I voted. In the UK currently we have local council elections. Turnout is typically lower than for the MPs and Mayor - however in Merton it was 40%. This year the council website is still at “n/a” although it looks to be Labour hold. Elsewhere Reform have made gains and are leading the number currently. It is not a good day and ultimately it will be because no-one voted.
