@cstross@wandering.shop @christineburns@mastodon.green @AlisonW@fedimon.uk @susankayequinn@wandering.shop the university used to lose all the ram from student computer rooms, in one case when cornered in the loos by security they threw a machine out of the window in an attempt to appear "clean", the crash followed by a car alarm going off gave them away.
