I also want to open the discussion about the “listen to users opinion” here. It’ll probably hurt you to hear that, but users are not the holy grail for many open source contributors. They are for companies that profit from users, but very unlikely to be for independent contributors. Most of us don’t profit from our work. You can demand features and bugfixes from open source contributors just as much as you can from any random people on the street.
