@Paws2Spindle@sunny.garden it's the name of the Omni-Garment from The Lorax by Dr. Seuss: a knitted scarf/top/dress/coat/carpet/towel/etc knitted from the fiber of endangered slow-growing truffula trees. "Everyone needs a Thneed!" Thneeds (things you need) are delightfully ambiguous in that they seemed to have a place for one's head and the rest is just draping and imagination... So I started calling the allegro "shawl with a waistband" that can also be a capelet, hood, shrug, toga, etc... a thneed.
