@tsherrygeo@m.ai6yr.org No news stories, but after Hurricane Milton, there was catastrophic storm surge in Fort Myers, Florida, and the Florida SARNet repeater system was the only way first responders from FEMA could get any comms in or out. They were all ham radio the whole time...
