Look at me; YOU, subs, have an obligation, a moral imperative even, to make sure your dominant is happy, healthy, and well fed. You can not achieve these obligations if you ignore their feelings and desires, causing them irreparable hurt. Your dom is not a machine you turn on when you want to be beaten and fucked, they're a person; a person that has given you their trust, and that deserves just as much reverence as they give you.

@Sickosocial@mastodon.social Dominants are as much at risk as subs in a scene. My literal thought at reading the first post was “anyone in the scene can safeword.” I don’t extend this to mean either party is responsible for kkkeing if the other should safeword. But I do believe we are repnbdibke for openly communicating if something is wrong, if we’ve gotten into a weird headspace or something isn’t working. I’ve had doms get uncomfortable if my headspace caused me to go silent. It raised concern. 👍
