@mackensen@higheredweb.social Ok, so its not -that- oldschool, but I am bringing a tower and my gaming monitor (which isnt quite as heavy as a CRT, but almost as unwieldy). I dont have a gaming laptop anymore, since gaming on the go just isnt important to me. and for the few times ive done it, the steamdeck has handled it. I did consider just taking the deck. but it doesnt really compare to the tower. Reminds me of the old days, buckling the full tower i had in the early 2000's into the passenger seat of my jeep and heading out.
