Apparently they are burning through strategic oil reserves and selling them on the world market at reduced prices to make up for the shortfall not exiting Hormuz. Meaning they need it to open by July before they run out. But nothing has changed in the stand off posture of either party and I don't see a resolution. My best guess is that this just continues indefinitely because both going further in, and also backing off, would be an L for Trump.
