I certainly agree with this. But I'm not sure that a list that contains a number of contemporary and well known Japanese composers (for example) is super helpful if that's the purpose of it. A Japanese American in the 1920s? Sure. A Japanese citizen living in Japan today? Hardly.
Persons of Color is a very broad term, that doesn't typically mean much outside the US and is poorly defined even in the US (e.g. Hispanic - which includes everyone from S. America including wealthy descendants of European settlers).
