@donlamb_1@mastodon.online @cpkimber@scicomm.xyz I love Taylor’s books. When I set out to teach Classical I went back to the text I was taught from and figured out how to teach Lagrangians. Then I read three or four texts to see how they did it. Taylor’s layout matched mine almost perfectly. Concentrates on the “what” more than the theoretical justifications.
