@nedbat@hachyderm.io This one really resonated with me. How long it takes to learn something shouldn't matter, but in the tech job market it's a metric that's widely used and even more widely (IMO) over-emphasized. I've joked that I have a learning cliff, not a learning curve. It takes a cetain period of dedicated plodding away for something to actually "click".
