Today is Mother's Day in the U.S. It is my first Mother's Day without a mother, since my Mom passed in December at the age of 82. I feel somber, but not quite sure if I'm feeling the right kind of sad. So I thought I'd share some photos to spark my memories of her. Photos show my mom as a baby in her mother's arms (in 1944); her at 27 holding me as a baby (in 1970); my mom making a pie on her 80th birthday (2023); and a selfie of us a year ago today, on May 10, 2025. #MothersDay #Sad
