I found the story about Los Angeles Metro's upgraded filtering.
I don't know if they stuck with it.

I think a number of bus drivers got sick, but I think metro was also only giving them surgical masks.

@alienghic@timeloop.cafe Good to know! Unfortunately, I can't find any indication that STM does any filtering at all - though they do have constant ventilation in the Metro (subway) system because it would overheat otherwise, so I guess that's something.
