So I've never had to do this for somebody else before, I usually am the one donating, but a friend is in serious need of some help getting out of a terrible abusive sublet in Oakland and back to her kids in San Jose, all while having lost most of her mobility below her waist. Her current situation is untenable, the landlord is verbally abusive and the bathroom is not accessible.
