The biggest takeaway from all this gerrymandering madness is this: In a post-shame political environment, we need to agitate for a national redistricting standard that puts all states on an even playing field. I don’t know if that requires a constitutional amendment or what, but fuck all this cynical race-to-the-bottom shit.
