Rant: This meme is a sick, abusive, piece of shit and: "How to insult newcomming comic book readers from having fun with a franchise they are interested in." Like image someone is getting new into a comic book series and they like a comic and then all of a sudden you insult their intelligence for reading something you dont like and then liking the wrong comics becomes a humiliation ritual, thats the ultimate gatekeeping piece of shit move. If you show me this meme then fuck you, im not interested in reading your series anymore, because a meme like this costs what would otherwise be casual fans who would have fun liking something without any restraint no matter how bad the story line is. Its fiction at the end of the day, reading comics should just be fun for the sake of being fun, not turned into a luck based gatekeeping homework. Because memes like this give comic book fans a piss poor rep. Like i understand if a movie or show deviates from the source material making the character unrecognizable but still. Memes like this are no better.
