@matt_birchler@mastodon.social I enjoyed the first one a lot and they’re very much going back to the well for some parts which is still fun in a disposable way. The new villain cast is good though so I still enjoyed it (Elijah Wood is fun!). Without giving away anything, I did find myself wondering where the hell they were heading in act 3 which was a nice twist from the first two. I’d say if you enjoyed the first you’ll enjoy this in a fun, turn your brain off kinda way.
