@sue@glasgow.social This really bothers me. I currently use the Codium fork of VS Code, because I find it less annoying than any of the other IDEs available to me. But I really don't trust it. It's built on a tottering pile of unstable JavaScript packages, so it's really difficult to form an informed opinion as to whether it's trustworthy, even before folk start pulling this sort of egregious shit. My own fault for using something #MicroSoft has a finger in.
