@Sevoris@mastodon.social I plan company strategy the same way I plan for Twilight Imperium games, i.e, pacing up and down corridors, mumbling to myself like a madman, and stacking lots of contingencies at all the visible points of failure
(So yes, it's honestly exactly like playing a game with a high-dimension action space. Also I've been too scared to play Eve ever since learning about it because I think I'd never escape its gravity)

@ludicity@mastodon.sprawl.club okay but you‘d be a magnificent Tyrant in Eve. You‘d probably burn it all down with a grandiose blog post after ten years but you‘d be magnificent. That said, the moral value of Disrupting™️ the australian tech industry cluster is greater, so maybe stay focused on that xD (I was mostly thinking of Eve because skill points get allocated at a fixed rate. You only learn so fast. You have your budget per month, so pick your skills. In this case the budget is teach money.)
