EVP @HennaVirkkunen wants #EU states to adopt the age verification app by end of 2026 as part of the mandated digital wallet and force #Meta to start using it while claiming it "… will help to ensure that everyone has the same online access…" and "… allow everyone to keep browsing the Internet in full privacy…" The current implementation will ensure #Europe's lock into #Google Android and #Apple iOS.
