Oh don’t get me wrong, they’re a fantastic, mutually supportive community. I just didn’t realize what I was walking into at first. It was like entering a club I had no business entering.

The first time I commented there, I tried to be courteous in the way I usually was on tumblr. People responded kindly, but read a bit confused. I quickly realized that the club was open to all. (Within reason) Which is to say, similar experience
