@sheepfilms@mastodon.social haha, yes I can imagine, we don’t think that often of what it means! I wish we would actually call it “bus” instead of “USB” in daily life, it would be more playful! Someone in the 60s or something amusingly called stuff to transport data “buses” and that was a fun idea, and it was ruined in the 90s by hiding it into an initialism :(
