Sadly, not prevalent enough. A lot of younger folks are happy not to carry cash and to have a 3rd party payment processor in their pocket until they die. Carrying cash is too *cringe* for them. Many older people, or people with privacy concerns, carry cash. Compared to either Europe or Eastern Asia, extremely few people carry cash.
