@trashheap@tech.lgbt There's nothing funny about any of it, but this part made me spontaneously laugh out loud:
"The limits of soft power, of soaring rhetoric alone, have been exposed. The ability of free and democratic societies to prevail requires something more than moral appeal. It requires hard power, and hard power in this century will be built on software."
I understand they are probably talking about autonomous warfare *shudder*, but that feels so out of touch with reality because of all the things that have to happen before that software can run... And the global systems that enable us to make that hardware have multiple, easily accessible, choke points.
Anyway, I hate it. :(
