@michcampbell@fediscience.org @sortius@infosec.exchange I haven’t watched the footage yet (I intend to to see if anyone laughed or otherwise expresssd approval), but the absolute lie of “intended meaning” and the non-apology (“If there was any misinterpretation, then I certainly apologise”?) was just out-of-your-fucking-mind jaw-dropping. I’m still bewildered by how ham-fisted and wrong-footed it was. There are many Australian men who will take this as permission to continue to deride women who demand better in their life. Who will interpret the explanation and apology as a “wink, wink, been caught by the missus but we all know what I really meant, wink, wink” type response. Gah!

@michcampbell@fediscience.org @sortius@infosec.exchange ok, I’ve watched a video now… The lie of the faux-explanation of the intended meaning (“difficult life”, or “she’s had a difficult like”) is that he used two and more words for others. “Best wishes”, “Made their bed, their lyin’ in it”. He certainly took enough time to have considered his options here. What a grub (a word he used with relish to describe Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, but not Donald Trump). This is the video I watched, it’s been edited, so it’s hard to gauge the true order, although Trump comes immediately after Grace.
