Yes, as a woman who uses a powerwheelchair, I get called "difficult" when I politely ask drivers to move their parked car/truck off the footpath so that I can get past.
"Difficult" means "how dare you, a woman, think that you have rights if those rights mean inconveniencing me, a man".
