@finestructure@mastodon.social finely put. I don’t feel any excitement for a technology that changes my role from coder to manager of LLM output. But then I don’t have deadlines anymore and am not tempted by any purported time savings, efficiencies.

@opticalaberration@mastodon.scot That's such a good way of putting it: you become a manager. For some people that's a plus, a goal. I've been an engineering manager and while there were parts that I liked, I didn't enjoy it. I was jealous of the team that got to code.
