For years I had random 1-2s black screen dropouts on my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS X11 box (Quadro P2000 driving an LG 32" 4K via DP). Tried many things: NVIDIA driver versions, DPMS, suspend settings, new cables, different GPU ports, ... nothing. Today I turned off the LG monitor’s built-in power saving and so far: zero dropouts. Might finally be it? #blankscreen
