Okay so two can play it that game. You dont wanna be intersex? because you're a woman with pcos? okay! you dont get to decide, as a perisex woman, what is intersex!! But furthermore, you cannot tell me that intersex vsc affect PRIMARY only, and then tell me in the same breath PCOS isnt a variation. Ovaries are gonads. You know that, right? There is an innate variation in the ovaries when or IF they even release eggs, its pcos. "but intersex only affect primary sex characteristics!" Pcos affects the gonads oopsie. Also being intersex doesnt fucking stop you from being a woman? you cant identify AS intersex. You either are or arent. Its not a quirky identity, its a sex variation. You know, biology. You dont get to decide whether or not you consent to being intersex when science is leaning towards pcos being intersex (and doctors are AGREEING NOW). But also like I said, if you wanna be perisex, sure. Okay. But you dont get a say in what IS intersex and what it ACTUALLY is then. Why are you using old 1950s information when im using new up to date information?? Like fuck "intersex" isnt a fucking dirty word. Its not a fucking insult. Nobody is stopping you from being a fucking woman. You dont "have to identify as intersex" if you dont want to, but you also.. dont get a say. Take NCAH for example. NCAH wasnt intersex until 2006 (classified as a metabolic and endocrine disorder like pcos.. hmmm), do you think people who had NCAH consented to being intersex? No. Because its fucking biology you hot dog??? PCOS has atypical gonadal development. Intersex variations are.. guess what.. sometimes atypical gonadal development.. woah.. "My atypical traits are 'normal' because I say so, but your atypical traits are 'intersex' because I say so" headass. Even "old school" doctors have known about the gonadal impact of PCOS for nearly a century. In fact, before it was called PCOS, it was called Stein-Leventhal Syndrome (named in 1935), and it was defined specifically by bilateral cystic ovaries... which are, by every medical definition, the gonads. If she is trying to claim that PCOS doesn't involve "atypical reproductive anatomy" or "gonadal development," she is ignoring the very foundation of the diagnosis. But go off I guess queen yaaas lets be intersexist!!! She treated being intersex like the worst thing in the world. like okay so are we having internal bad thoughts? Do you wanna go in the corner and drink from your sippy cup?? Should we tell the news?
