The numbers would probably flip if you limited it to Americans. I'm American and drove a manual for my entire life until my most recent car. But most of the Americans I know can't do it.

@joyce@hcommons.social Perhaps that is why I see so many lists of questions saying "Have you ever....?" as if they are lost and forgotten things, and some of them ?I do every day.
