I just realized that Chekhov's Gun is an example of linear logic. It's a premise that has to be consumed at some point in the plot.

@BartoszMilewski@mathstodon.xyz It has to be consumed, or removed. If the gun fires, it does not have to be cut. This is called cut elimination and is what all linear plots reduce to.
