9/ day two: after climbing out of Cooper canyon and over Cloudburst summit and down to 3 Points, it was a hot afternoon and mellow evening hike over Pacifico Mtn. Very familiar stretch. Took a long break at the creek by Sulphur springs to wash my clothes and soak my feet and made it over Pacifico for sunset and down to stealth camp at the rest area by Mill Creek summit trailhead by 10pm for an early night.

10/ swear I shared this, guess not? Day 3 was nicely uneventful. 34 miles home over Mt Gleason and very familiar trail. Started before 6 am for an easy 10 by 10 then had a chill afternoon and evening hike with lunch at North Fork ranger station and dinner down at Indian Cyn trailhead. Chatted with Ranger Todd, he confirmed what I'd seen that there weren't any thru hikers yet (by today there are). I chatted with a section hiker at dinner, first person I'd seen. Got home by 10pm.
