sorry you have triggered my inner pedant.
Nato was bombing Belgrade in 1999, which was 4 years after the Bosnian War endded with the Dayton Accords.
Nato bombed Belgrade to prevent the Kosovo genocide.
Which is a different bit of the former Yugoslavia.

@iris_meredith@mastodon.social agree with your post though; the only useful kind of network is people who you previously worked with (who would be happy to work with you again) which is fine when you are an old git. but not helpful when you are young
