@billseitz@toolsforthought.rocks frontend deserves its own book with the first chapter explaining server side rendering which seems to be forgotten of now needs 200% more JS frameworks.

@fallenhitokiri@social.screamingatmyscreen.com Yeah, it really needs to be a single book with 2 parts, to cover front+back coherently. With an intro section on "here's how to put websites into 4 buckets, you're probably in bucket1, which this book covers".

@fallenhitokiri@social.screamingatmyscreen.com yeah, even for mobile, I tend to pitch "ReactNative as 80% thin wrapper over HTML webviews, 20% ReactNative intro-screens to avoid getting blocked by appstore nazis".
