@fooishbar@octodon.social @swick Only commenting on the organizational structure of the CoCC: I'd like to mention that at least in germany it's quite common for associations and parties to have arbitration courts, usually without overlap to any executive organs. And while that was probably influenced with some historical paranoia about separation of power, I think the existance of such institutions can be very good for building and maintaining trust.

In light of recent events in the Gnome community and the board I for one hope that something in that direction will get institutionalized there and in other FLOSS organizations.
