I’m a man in my early 30s and I’m single with no kids, still living with my parents, and working a part time job. As far as material things go, I’ve got a pretty nice car, a powerful gaming PC, and some money saved up (although not enough to actually move out.) If I want some new clothes, a new game, or just something nice within reason, I can afford it. That mostly sounds great on paper, but I’m really not where I want to be in life. I have lots of free time and some disposable income, but I’m being held down big time by a lifelong struggle with panic attacks and agoraphobia which has severely affected my ability to have a social life and maintain a circle of friends. I’m also very afraid of flying and traveling so I’m not seeing the world. I’m grateful for the good things, but the bad things are having a bigger impact. I need someone to share my time with, and someone to help me get out more. Then I need to get full time work and move out.
