I assume there are technical or UX reasons for “loop videos” depending on the generic native controls setting?

@teilweise@layer8.space I just saw your reply but not the original post. The reason there’s a separate loop video setting is that many websites use a loop video as a page background, and show native video controls brings the video to the front of the page for access to the controls, so in that case the background loop video covers up the entire page content.
