@bendrath@eupolicy.social and the bad guys will make sure to use unencrypted comms? the average public will be surveilled vs the bad people who will use encryption the whole thing seems very badly thought through - huge downsides, not much upside again tell me if I'm misunderstanding - I'm not some high-flying EU policy wonk
