Ok, maybe I should give up and switch back from #freeBSD to #linux I own de-facto single laptop and used two EXTERNAL disks to store files. Just discovered there is no way to unplug zfs disk often, meanwhile, literally no other file systems compatible with freebsd (except for fuse implementations which do not seem to work reliably) I'm at risk of corrupting data and have no time to experiment further. Well that was interesting and promising at times, but cannot recommend freebsd on laptop even if it's a thinkpad; well unless you have access to another computer and decided to challenge yourself.
