Watching an OpenAI teevee commercial (TeeVee?! I am not a target market). It was however during an Indy Series car racing event (I "guess" they sponsor a team). And 3 old-fashioned Black and White photos of people flash by, none of which would be recognizable to anyone who IS the target market. One of them (the last one of the 3) is Dennis Ritchie, and I look him up just to make sure. That just leaves a woman (the first picture) and I "think" it's Grace Hopper. And I confirm it is.

That just leaves the middle photo, the second one of guy. And I think that's John von Neumann and I confirm that's correct too. So if you bump into that teevee commercial. It's roughly like this. With the tagline,... "Just Make Stuff" Well OpenAI, I dare say none of these 3 folks just ever vibed their way to success. Wether it be COBOL, or the von Neumann computer architecture or the Unix OS or C programming language, it took EFFORT and help from a lot of colleagues to make it happen.
