Fortunately, I came out in high school on my own because my best friends showing me WICKER PARK shortly thereafter would have forced me out. Even if I was not out, they probably would still have shown it to me, make no mistake. However, getting there just beforehand spared another embarrassing bout of, "You know, if I could also be into men..."
